Wayburne Brown

Wayburne Daniel Brown, Jr., 49, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Odessa.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel with Larry Hood officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Dan Brown was born in Odessa to Harrell Wayburne Brown, Sr. and Donna Brown on August 10, 1963. He was a graduate of Permian High School where he excelled in auto shop. He worked as an auto mechanic and as a repossession agent. He was involved in local car gatherings and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was a certified noncommissioned security officer.

Dan is preceded in death by his father, Harrell Brown.

Dan is survived by his sons, Steven and Paulette Bryan of Odessa Gregg and Holly Bryan of Odessa David and Samantha Bryan of Odessa sister, Tranna Faye mother, Donna Brown of Odessa his grandchildren, Michael Anthony, Christina Claire, Christopher Daniel and Alexis Anne of Odessa and the mother of his sons, Susan Bryan.

The family of Dan Brown would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Hooker family, and our extended family at Freedom Buick, GMC. We would also like to thank Elva and Ralph Hurst of Odessa and the many friends he had which are too numerous to list. A special thanks to Sunset Memorial Gardens for their support and understanding.
