William Kerley

William Kerley, 75, of Runaway Bay, TX went to be with his Lord on November 14th, 2011.

He was born to the late Robert and Zelma Kerley on November 27, 1935 in Gordonville, TX. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1955 and received a BA in Business Administration from North Texas State University in 1968.

After serving in the United States Army, he went to work for El Paso Natural Gas in Odessa. He later worked for Texaco as a Marketing Supervisor. Bill retired from Texaco as a Landman and relocated with his wife Bonnie to Runaway Bay, TX. He worked independently as a Landman until 2009.

Bills passions were fishing, cooking, traveling, entertaining friends, writing, helping those in need and spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by his wife Bonnie Kerley Bridgeport, TX his daughter Terry Lynn Cooke Odessa, TX his grandchildren Cambrie CookeHolguin and Keegan Cooke his sisters Sue Stakes and Jackie Kyle his brothers Wayne Kerley and James Herron and numerous other family members who will all miss his fun, generous and adventurous spirit.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 19th at 2:00pm at Antioch Christian Church, 4040 Maple, Odessa, TX.
