Wynona Sheffield

Wynona June Sheffield, 76, of Odessa, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 11, 2018. She passed at her home in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Hood officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Wynona was born in Wolfe City, TX to William and Nora Tucker on November 15, 1941. She went to school in Lovington, NM. She married Don Sheffield on December 29, 1960 in Lovington, NM. She worked for Norman Battery & Electric for over 35 years before retiring in 2012. She was involved with the TIAA.

Wynona is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Don Sheffield, her brothers, Paul Tucker and Bobby Tucker and her parents, William and Nora Tucker.

Wynona is survived by her daughter, LaDonna Handy and husband Mike, four grandchildren, Genene and husband Sergio, Reese and wife Nikki, Michael and wife Tamara, Brooke and fiancé Michael, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and others that loved her dearly.

Pallbearers will be Reese Robbins, Michael Handy, Michael Fox, Sergio DeLeon and Mike Handy.

Wynona enjoyed travelling and loved spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Betty Tucker. Family was so important to her. She enjoyed being outdoors and feeding her turtles. Her warm welcoming smile and big loving heart will be missed by many.
