Yvonne Brown

Yvonne Chamlee Brown, 85, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on February 18, 2023 with her loving family at her side.

Visitation will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Thursday, February 23rd from 6-8 pm.  Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E. Highway 80, Odessa, Texas.

Born October 27, 1937 in Tulare, California, she was the daughter of Eugene Cecil Mason and Argie Belle Burrahm.

Yvonne was a strong, joyful Christian woman who always saw the good in everyone. She loved the Lord, and she lived her life to help and serve others.   She had a beautiful voice which she used to glorify God.  Because of her legacy, so many have come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. To know her was to love her.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Linda Patterson and Dedrie Ann Smith, two brothers, Roy Mason and Leslie Mason, her husbands, Raymond Chamlee and Elton Brown, and her son, Donnie Chamlee.

She is survived by her brother David Mason, her sister, Carla Hance; daughter Lynn and favorite son-in-law, Daniel Gawlik; grandson Derik and wife Amanda; granddaughter Tamara and husband David Bavousett; and daughter-in-law Vicki Chamlee. “Gigi” is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Abby, Emma and Barrett Bavousett, and Andrew Gawlik, and her late husband’s four children as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
