Zella Clark

Zella Ann Clark, 79, of Odessa Texas went to be with her heavenly Father on March 14, 2013 at the Hospice House in Odessa, Texas. Ann was born in Seymour, Texas to Mamie and Everett Matthews on November 7, 1933. She married Otis Wayne Clark on November 18, 1950 in Lee County New Mexico.

Ann was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. She gave all of her time to her beloved husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and of course her dogs. Ann was known for always putting everyone elses needs before her own. She was an avid Christian and read her favorite book, The Bible, on a daily basis. In her spare time, Ann loved to sew and garden. Though she was a very small woman she had a feisty personality and loved to laugh and make jokes. Ann enjoyed the little, simple things out of life and always put the Lord first. Ann was a member of Dunn Street Baptist Church.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents Mamie and Everett Matthew, Dolores Dotson sister and her brother Matt Mathews and her beloved husband of 59 years, Otis Wayne Clark.

Ann is survived by her daughter and soninlaw, Karen ClarkTaylor and Tom Taylor of Telluride, Co son and daughterinlaw, Greg and Tonya Clark of Odessa daughter and soninlaw, Teresa ClarkBrier and John Brier of Norwood, CO. Ann cherished her 6 grand children and two beautiful greatgrandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday March 16th at 5:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Farrell Ard officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
