Zella Monroe Tripp

Zella Monroe Tripp was born November 5, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. She was a warrior until her final breath at 8:25 pm on November 9, 2024, while being held in her mommy’s arms with her daddy right beside her. After her vent was unplugged, for a couple of minutes she was held lovingly until her very last breath. Zella went from the arms of her mommy and daddy into the arms of Jesus. 

Zella is survived by her parents, Micah and Rachel Tripp; her sister, Jocelynn; her brothers, Maverick and Jagger; her grandparents, Kendra (Jeannie) and Monroe (Billy) Robert Tripp, Jr., Mark and Diane Ochs; her aunts and uncles, Marty and Lauren Smith, Daniel and Abby Ochs, David and Lauren Ochs, and Tucker Tripp; and numerous cousins and extended family.

Zella showed everyone a kind of strength that we didn’t know existed. She lived up to her name just like the little warrior that she is. Rachel and Micah are so honored to be her Mommy and Daddy. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, at 12:30 PM, at Mid-Cities Community Church in Midland, Texas. Her burial will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Odessa, Texas. 

Family, friends, and all who were touched by Zella’s life are invited to attend.
