Jesse lived a great life filled with laughter, love, family, and friends. No one knew how to get a party going quite like him. He was the first one to tell a joke to get people laughing or offer a kind word to help heal any hurt. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and just about any sport but none quite as much as football. You could always count on a Cowboys game and a few drinks at his house. He spent his last weekend hunting with his friend Justin Owens, and even managed to listen to the Cowboys game on the radio with a few beers too.
There was only one other thing Jesse had as much passion for in life and that was his career in Safety. He wanted nothing more than for every person he met, at any jobsite, to go home safely to their family. He had over 35 years in the safety field and used his experiences and knowledge to help others. It wasn't just a job or paycheck for him, it was a way of life. He was currently working at Laredo Petroleum Inc., where he shared his passion, love, and respect for safety with many wonderful people.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4
